Admission

    • Physician’s Advice: The concerned physician will document the need for admission in the Casualty or OPD records.

    • Admission Process: The patient admission process will be conducted at the Admission Desk on the Ground Floor from 9 AM to 4 PM and at the Casualty Registration Counter from 4 PM to 9 AM. The process begins as soon as the patient arrives at the desk with the admission order from the attending doctor.

    • Verification: Check the written admission order provided by the patient to ensure it is from a doctor who holds admission privileges at the hospital. If the patient lacks the proper written order, admission will be denied, and the patient will be appropriately guided.

    • Patient Details: Obtain the necessary patient details using their IP number. Additional information will be collected by the admitting clerk/technician, who will ask the patient to fill out the Online Admission Module. All identification fields must be completed by the admitting staff.

    • Ward/Unit Allocation: Allocation of the appropriate ward/unit will be carried out according to the physician’s order, as noted in the initial assessment sheet or OPD notes.

    • General Consent: General consent will be obtained from the patient after admission, using the standardized format and following the hospital’s general consent policy.

    • Patient Transfer to Ward: Upon successful admission, the patient will be directed to the assigned ward. If necessary, an attendant will accompany the patient.

    • Patient Rights & Communication: Patients have the right to be informed about all procedures and treatments. During daily rounds, the treating clinicians will provide counseling on the patient's condition, care plan, preventive measures, possible complications, medications, and other treatment aspects.

    • Assistance: If assistance is required, please feel free to approach the nursing counters.

  • 3. In the "Ministry/Department" Drop Down Select ESIC
  • 4. In "Subordinate Department/Office" select the Regional Office
  • 5. Provide details of the complaint
